Mountain Skills week
Fly in tent based camp deep in the Selkirk mountains.
Conquer Epic Summits with the right tools, conditions and timing for a safe and unforgettable experience at the next level!
Travelling across vast glaciers, rappelling into steep couloirs, camping out under the winter sky, and reaching technical peaks, our Mountain skills Program is our ultimate winter adventure!
Ski Mountaineering is one of the most incredible ways to enjoy the mountains in winter. With snow covered approaches and rapid ski descents, it is easier to cover more ground and potentially summit more peaks than on a similar summer mountaineering trip.
In this tent based program, we will explore the numerous snow covered peaks and ski the slopes of the benedict creek while teaching the curriculum of a ski mountaineering course. You will have the opportunity to lead trips in challenging and complex terrain with coaching and feedback from our guides..
Strong intermediate ski skills with at least two years of experience in backcountry skiing. This course is a great next step for those that have completed an AST 2 course.
