bugaboos ski camp
I have guided two trips into the Bugaboos, 2009 and 2013, and I am happy to be headed back again in 2020. The Bugaboos offers amazing high alpine ski touring with many options for ski lines, tours and steep skiing. There is no tree skiing but on stormy days we are usually able to ski in the Cobalt lake area where gully’s and couloirs give a little reference in flat light.
The Bugaboos is the birthplace of heli skiing. We fly in as the last heli skiers of the season fly out. The bugaboos are a ski touring mecca. Steep lines, beautiful scenery, and big rugged glaciated terrain.

Fitness Level:
You will need to be a strong intermediate skier with a reasonable fitness level, capable of skiing 5000 to 6000 vertical feet in a day. Your endurance level should be such that you could stay out skiing for 6 to 8 hours.
